Daphne's POV
I hopped in the shower and took a long hot one. Well actually, I didn't hop in, considering my hurt leg, I just sat down in the tub and took my shower. Once I was done, I got out as best as I could because I didn't want help. Help would mean Arron coming in to help and seeing me naked. No way!
I wrapped the towel that I knew wasn't there before, around my body. I looked at myself in the mirror and I saw a glassy and bloodshot eyed girl, with a red nose. I looked away and dressed myself in clothes that were way to big on me. That meant that they must belong to Arron. In another ocassion, I would have blushed and asked for other clothes but I was too emotionally drained.
I struggled out of the bathroom and saw Arron laying on his bed. I saw that he was filled with scratches that I hadn't noticed before. As he saw me, he scrambled out of bed and came to help me. He, took me back in the bathroom though.
I gave him a confused look and he said, "I need to wrap your leg." He set me on the counter and started wrapping it.
Once he was done I said, "Your turn." This he looked confused and said, "But I don't need to be bandaged."
"No but you do have scratches all over you that need some help," I told him.
He shook his head but I ignored him and started tending to his wounds. After I was done, I put the things back in the first aid kit.
As I was, he said, "You missed a spot."
"Where?" I asked him.
He looked down and pointed, "Down there," he said.
"No! I ain't going anywhere near there! Get your head out of the gutter," I tell him with a blush creeping on my face.
He smirks and says, "What do you mean? I meant my leg, now who's the one with the mind in the gutter?"
I feel my face turn even redder as I say, "Oh."
I look down at the tile as I hear his husky chuckle and shreak as I am suddenly picked up. He takes me to the bed and lays me down. He tucks me in, even if it's still early, and sits next to me. I start to fall asleep, but right before I completely did, I feel the weight next to me disappear. I look and see that Arron is leaving.
"No, stay," I tell him blushing a little again.
Curse those freaking blushes.
Once I got to the kitchen, I froze at what I saw before me. Luke and Ben were in a passionate lip lock. I smiled and awed in my head.
Feeling that I was witnessing a personal moment that I shouldn't, I backed away slowly tried not to make any noise. Keyword being tried. Of course me being me, I elbowed a pot making it clatter on the counter. I cringed at the noise, and they broke apart and looked at me with horrified faces as they saw me.
"Oh, hi guys," I said with a nervous smile and tone of voice.
"H-hi Daphne, w-watcha doing there?" Stuttered Ben.
"Oh umm, couldn't sleep so I decided to get up and get a glass of water," I explained.
We stood in awkward silent when Luke finally broke the silence.
"Umm Daphne, I don't know how much you saw there but, could you maybe keep it between us?" He asked with a voice that kept cracking as if he had been crying all night.
Which if he did, I wouldn't be surprised as he had puffy eyes and a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer nose.
