Mr CEO is my neighbour? novel Chapter 5

I walk to the lawn where Woojin is waiting for me, with Mr Park. Woojin suddenly runs past me, pulling Mr Park to sit next to him on the picnic table. I shake my head as this is the first time ever, I saw him acting this way when I have been friend with him for 3 years already.

I take a seat in front of them, looking at both of them weirdly - Woojin is giving Mr Park all of the food that he said he bought for me before. I try to take a bowl away from him but Woojin suddenly hits my hand using his chopsticks.

"Don't touch! It's for our new friend. Hyun, eat a lot. Let's play soccer after eating this." Woojin happily tells his plan to Mr Park.

I look at the food, salivating as the snacks are my favourites. I could only bite the end of the chopsticks imagining the tastes of the food. The bowl been pushed to me all of sudden. Does Mr Park give it to me?

"Hyun, why did you give it to her? She already ate a lot when she visited her mom's house there." Woojin complains, still using the fake name of Mr Park.

"She keeps looking at me eating it. She must've wanted to taste it a bit." Mr Park explains to Woojin coolly, making me stopped eating. "Also, don't treat your long-time friend like this when you met me as your new friend. Hana right now must feel unhappy about it." He adds.

I somehow feel touched when I listened to his explanations. Why does he somehow have a different aura from how he used to be in the office everyday?

I sit on the bench next to the big tree, being a spectator for Mr Park and Woojin's Nerf competition. Thank goodness Mr Park hides his identity using the nerf googles and protection mouth guard. Both of them can't stop shooting each other like a true army in the war stations.

Woojin shoots on Mr Park's body continuously until Mr Park falls on the ground. The sound of something cracks concerned me. Mr Park doesn't get up from the ground for a few seconds already. I run to him, take a look on his condition.

He breaks his googles and now his eyes can't be covered anymore. He already keeps his sunglasses in his house when he changed to Nerf's outfit. "Miss Jung.. Don't you have something that can cover my eyes? Woojin might know about my identity soon." He whispers to me.

I take a look around. Woojin puts down his Nerf guns, approaching to Mr Park. "Mr Park.. Just act like you have to wash your face for a while because of the dirt." I give Mr Park an idea, slowly whispering to him back.

"Hana, why? Is he fine? I heard something cracked." Woojin asks me, looking at Mr Park with worried looks.

"I have to be more careful now, right? He shouldn't know about me." He comments while opening the door.

It's surprising that Woojin stands in front of Mr Park's house with the Nerf guns on his hands. He gives one of the guns to Mr Park right away. "Let's continue playing!" He shrieks happily, running downstairs.

"I guess I might overplayed this game soon.." I heard Mr Park mumbles next to me.

I thought he never knows how to play the games like other boys always play. A smile automatically forms on my mouth when watching him having fun with Woojin.

I'm really curious about his life before. He must've missed all these games in his childhood.

Wait.. Why am I talking about him all day long? He is just my CEO. Don't ever smile for him if it's unnecessary. You must be crazy, Hana.
