Mr CEO is my neighbour? novel Chapter 7

"Hana! You already arrived.. Sadly, today Woojin took a day off because he said that he felt unwell. Yesterday he didn't look sick at all. I wonder what happened to him." My other co-worker, Jaehwan chats with me while entering the office.

"He called you just now?" I ask, concerned. Jaehwan nods, walking to his desk to get his work started.

"Has he took his hangover soup? Last night he drank quite a lot until he become drunk like that." I mumble.

"Who are you worried about? Have you cleaned my room like how I told you before?" Mr Park stands next to me all of sudden, asking me with his cold tone.

My eyes circled. How could I forget about his strict instructions? I duck my face as I'm afraid to look at his face when I don't even do any of the works, he told me to do every morning.

He enters his room, calling me in just a few seconds he stepped in. I quickly run into his room getting ready to be scolded. He glares at me angrily.

"Miss Jung.. What's this? Can't you see that there is a lot of dusts here?! And what's this, my pencils are not sharpened at all. Did you call yourself a secretary?!" He complains mercilessly without even thinking about my feelings.

I bow a few times before leaving his room, not even say a single word to him. I hide my face in my folded arms, sobbing on my desk. I think what my mom said a few months ago was true; I should discontinue my work as a secretary if I wanted to get a boyfriend quickly.

I open my computer to write my resignation letter. I can't take this pressure anymore. When Mr Yoon was my CEO, he always takes care of me and didn't even scold me although I'm wrong. I smile alone reminiscing those sweet memories.

"Should I print this resign letter now? I think.. I better save it first as a draft." I mutter.

I raised up my head as I noticed that I fall asleep after I write the resignation letter for me. The first thing I search is what time is it now - 13:00. I skipped my lunch time again like yesterday's.

A skyblue post note stuck on my computer's monitor. I take it off to read the written notice from who-knows-who. "Miss Jung, come into my room if you have woken up."
