"Because I know everything about you and maybe I have contact with the FBI"

I heard her vicious laugh. "Doesn't matter. I am not scared"

"Come on" I heard him and I went to the front gate and she looked at me shocked.

"V-Vincent Smith?"

"You dare hurt my sister in law?" I smirked. "Time for a little revenge"

"You cheap man! You can't do anything on your own, can you!?" I heard Heather as she humiliated Chris.

"I can," he smirked. "Wanna know what?"

"What?" she laughed. She was completely oblivious that Chris could also do something to hurt her. He took out his phone.

"I have earned my position by hard work and thus this was also possible due to my hard work"

"This what?"

I also did not know what he was up to. He dialled a number and cut the call. "Who did you call?"

"Federal Bureau of Investigation"

"And for what?" she laughed.

"Dishonesty towards a prominent figure, kidnapping and abusing a woman in addition to getting her own people shot and betrayal"

"What?" her laugh faded. I smirked too, he was quite smart. Heather got her own people shot when I was trying to kidnap Ashley.

"You should go inside. I am sure Lara is inside"

I nodded and went inside. Heather didn't stop me and I searched for her everywhere. I finally saw her and ran to her.

"Are you okay?"

She was tied and a cloth was wrapped around her mouth preventing her from speaking anything. She looked extremely pale.

I unwrapped the cloth around her mouth. She was so restless and energy less that she fell to the ground when I untied her hands and legs.

I didn't know what was going on.

I called a doctor and looked at her. I checked her pulse and it looked fine. At least she was alive.

The doctor arrived in five minutes and I let them check her.

"She is mildly poisoned. We have to admit her to the hospital"

"Okay" I said and then the ambulance was called. They took her to the hospital and I met Chris.

"Was she okay...?" he asked.

"yeah, mildly poisoned. Gonna be okay"

He heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good. The FBI will come soon. You should go to the hospital and take Ashley"

I nodded.

"And bro" he called me and I looked at him. "I am glad we did it together"
