Ivy let out a sigh of relief. She had thought that her identity was already exposed. She turned to Mia and said, "See? Noelle already knows that Xenia's here. There's no need for you to call her."

Mia replied, "But Noelle definitely doesn't know that you're Xenia's aunt."

Ivy quickly replied, "Mia, just help me keep this a secret for now, okay? Once we're done with Eason, we'll go to Noelle and explain everything to her ourselves."

Mia was confused. "But why?"

"I'm begging you for this, alright? I don't really have the time to explain everything to your friend right now. You don't want her to misunderstand either, do you?"

Mia sat down on the couch and looked at Xenia with displeasure. "But I don't like her."

Ivy replied, "I'll take care of things. You just wait, okay? I'll talk to Xenia for a bit."

She then grabbed Xenia and tried to bring her outside. Xenia then said, "I don't want to leave."

Left with no choice, Ivy replied, "Come upstairs with me."

Xenia's face lit up with joy. She looked around the place and said, "I'm fine with any of the rooms on the second floor. I'm not picky."

She would eventually get the chance to stay with the Cantrells forever, so long as she was allowed to get her foot in and stay with them now, even if temporarily.

Mia sat down on the couch and watched as Xenia and Ivy headed upstairs. She lowered her head and immediately sent a message to Noelle.

"Xenia's here, but Ivy's claiming to be Xenia's aunt. She won't admit it outright."

Noelle replied, "That's fine. Let her waste her own time and energy trying to keep up with her own lies. It'll help distract her. You be careful, Mia."

"I know. Don't worry."
