Ivy did not expect Xenia to say something so ridiculous. Furious, she slapped Xenia across the face.

Xenia held onto her cheek with a satisfied expression. "You can't hide it anymore, yes, but it's not like you've done anything wrong. What are you so afraid of, anyway?"

Noelle turned to Xenia and said, "I didn't expect someone like you to actually have an aunt who would come to your aid."

Xenia glared at Noelle and replied, "What about it? I have a family now. I'm a woman of status now! I'm not some unwanted child anymore.

"You stole my life, remember? Don't even think that you've already won. It's not over yet between us."

She had gotten a new lease on life now. She was going to win no matter what.

Noelle caught the implication in Xenia's words and turned to Ivy. "Ivy, you're the one behind all of this, aren't you? Was Sean's death your doing, too?"

Ivy looked up at her. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Are you really still denying it at this point? Xenia just told us who you are."

Ivy calmly replied, "I am Xenia's aunt, yes. The reason I don't want to talk about it is exactly because I don't want to get dragged into this mess."

Noelle stared at Ivy. "Do you think you can wash your hands of it just by saying that? You secretly took Xenia away to hide some secrets, didn't you?

"You must've done a lot of bad stuff during that time. I'm starting to suspect that you're also the one responsible for Mia's car accident."

Ivy stood up. "Noelle, please don't randomly accuse others without any proof. I didn't want anyone to know about my past because I didn't want to be judged.
