Ivy sneered and turned to Laura. "Did you forget one very important thing? All that money was transferred through you, and you took a massive commission from me. Why are you still maintaining a charade?"

Laura's face paled at her words. Damn it. She'd grown up in a prestigious family, and though the Merlocks had fallen from grace, she knew the ins and outs of financial scams all too well.

Glaring at Ivy, she screamed hysterically, "As a conniving mistress, how dare you set me up!"

The realization that she had helped Ivy swindle so much money sent chills down her spine.

Ivy responded with a sneer. "With the way you carry yourself, do you think you have the right to insult me? You've been trying to seduce me for so long… You think I haven't noticed?"

"You're nothing but a mistress. You're not even the CEO of PZ Group! Now that your assistant has exposed you, why bother putting up an act?"

Laura hated Ivy through and through. This bitch had completely ruined her.

Salena stepped forward and spoke up in defense of Laura. "So you went abroad and became the mistress of PZ Group's true CEO? Sure enough, you'll always be a homewrecker because that's all you can do!"

Laura chimed in, "Exactly. And she transferred all our investment funds away! Don't let her get away with this!"

Their words nearly drove Ivy insane with rage. She'd wanted to fully redeem herself with tonight's dinner party and have all the people who once looked down on her bow in admiration. But everything was ruined.

Noelle stepped forward. Her words added fuel to the fire as she said, "I honestly thought you were the CEO behind PZ Group and went through so much trouble because of you. What a waste."

Ivy glared at the three women in front of her before pointing her gun at Noelle. "Shut up! I'm the CEO of PZ Group! Have you forgotten how you used to beg me for funding?"
