Noelle could tell that Xenia was seemingly on cloud nine just from her eyes alone. She then deliberately put on a stern expression to pretend to be upset.

Xenia grew even happier when she saw the look on Noelle's face. "Noelle, we're family, aren't we? If you agree to come back into the family and help us out, I'll definitely speak up for you in front of Donovan. I'm even willing to give up my position back to you."

Just then, Xenia walked toward her cheerfully and said, "Noelle, I'll make sure to restore everything back to what it was once my wedding is over."

Noelle just snorted and ignored her. Xenia then strutted away in her high heels while humming a tune to herself.

Seeing Xenia's smug expression, Frank immediately went to console Noelle. "Don't take it to heart, Noelle. Xenia's just too excited about the wedding and has gotten a little carried away."

Noelle whispered back at him, "Have you asked Donovan yet? What did he say?"

He shook his head and replied, "Donovan's not telling me anything. It's as if he knew that you're the one that's asking the questions."

Noelle had once said that she did not care about the car accident and even claimed that Donovan was lying to her. But she still wanted to know if Donovan was really lying or not.

Every single piece of clue mattered to her.
