Xenia denied having any connections to Gordon's death, and the Liddells did not have any solid evidence to link Gordon's death to her either.

She now hated Gordon with a burning passion. She felt that he deserved to die for even just touching her.

Wyatt seemed to be caught onto a weakness in Noelle's argument and sneered. "So, is this all you've got? What does this evidence of yours even prove?"

Noelle gave him a mocking smile and replied, "See what I mean? You guys asked me why I didn't tell you all about the evidence sooner, didn't you?

"I've had my suspicions for a very long time and had only recently discovered that Mr. Quigley isn't actually dead. Would you have believed me if I had told you about it back then? Would you even bother trying to investigate for the truth?"

She knew the Liddells all too well. She knew that they would do just about anything in order to preserve the family's reputation. Wyatt thought for a long while, but he could not come up with anything to refute against her.

Noelle then turned to her parents' memorial portraits and continued, "I want an answer, right here, right now, in front of Mom and Dad, regarding Xenia embezzling the company funds and conspiring with her father to scam the Liddell family. Are we calling the police or not?"

Frank was the first to reply. "I think we should call the police."

Donovan remained silent.

Xenia immediately spoke up. "Donovan, I was forced into this! Our family's reputation will be damaged if this gets out!

"Besides, my dad's already in Noelle's hands, so she must've taken the money as well! The most important thing right now is to get that money back!"

Donovan swiftly made a decision and then turned to Noelle. "I'll agree to whatever you want so long as you tell me where the money is."

The Liddell family was in dire need of cash. Noelle shot Xenia a cold and mocking glance as she replied, "Even if it means sending her to prison with your very own hands?"

Donovan replied calmly, "Xenia will have to face the consequences of her actions."
