Noelle almost choked on her drink when she heard Grace's question, never expecting the girl to be that straightforward.

Mia, on the other hand, turned bright red after hearing Grace's question. "We did, but…"

"But what? Eugene looks really strong, doesn't he?"

Mia blushed even more. "But he was pretty quick…"

Grace covered her mouth in shock. "That means it was his first time! Holy shit! I've never seen a man so naive! He's so handsome, and he's still a virgin?"

Mia's face was bright red in the silence.

With a smile, Noelle commented, "Mia, why didn't you ever mention him to us?"

Seeing that they had slept together, their relationship must be more than it would seem on the surface.

Mia's expression stiffened a little. "Why would I talk about something so embarrassing?"

"What's embarrassing about this? You already slept with him, no? Unless he doesn't want to take responsibility or something," Grace replied.

Noelle had a different opinion. "He doesn't seem like the irresponsible type."

Mia gave a bitter smile as she explained, "After that night, I asked him if we should get together, but he said that it was just an accident and told me not to think too much about it. He also said that he wouldn't tell anyone about it."

She had been rejected.

Grace was immediately enraged on Mia's behalf. "Fuck, I knew it. Handsome guys really are all scumbags."

Noelle looked at Mia and said, "Wasn't Eugene scrambling to pay his family's medical bills back then? Maybe he was worried about the future and didn't dare to accept your feelings."

"It's not about that. He just never liked me in the first place. I was just shamelessly having a one-sided crush on him," Mia replied.

Noelle shook her head and explained, "You got it wrong, Mia. For someone like him, he wouldn't have been able to get hard for you if he didn't have feelings for you. He definitely likes you as well."

Grace then turned to Mia and asked, "Does he know what's been happening to you recently?"

"He knows. He had always known about what's going on within my family," Mia replied.

They were not from the same social circle, so they would not have crossed paths otherwise.

Noelle waited for a while before speaking up to Mia. "Let's go to L Bistro for dinner tonight."

Looking up at her, Mia asked, "Why?"

"Cedric said that he wanted to throw Eugene a welcome party."

Mia thought about it for a while and replied, "I'm fine with it."

Grace then gave Mia a little push. "Go! You must go! And make sure you dress up for it!"

"Wouldn't that be too obvious?" Mia asked.

"Not at all! Men are visual creatures. You need to make him long for you. Let him see, but don't let him touch. That way, he'll start dreaming about you at night."

Grace, too, wanted Mia and Eugene to get back together soon.
