Mia rolled her eyes. "I'm not that generous. He bought it himself."

"Does he even have that kind of money?" Justin was skeptical.

"Don't judge a book by its cover. Just because you're broke doesn't mean everyone else is." Mia linked arms with Noelle and walked over. Sure enough, Eugene had bought the car and registered it under Mia's name.

Noelle smiled at her. "So it's a gift for you."

Mia's face flushed. She looked at Eugene. "Why would you give this to me? I don't need something so expensive. Besides, I don't even drive."

Because of her leg, Mia had always resisted the idea of driving.

Eugene remained calm. "I can drive."

Noelle added from the side, "He's got a point. Why not take advantage of a free chauffeur?"

Mia's heart raced, though something about the situation felt off. Eugene didn't enjoy being in the spotlight. But now wasn't the time for questions.

Once Eugene had finished the paperwork and got the keys, Justin finally believed that he had bought the car.

He was seething with envy. "Wow, Mia, you really went all out."

Mia shot back, "You mean my bodyguard went all out."

Justin clicked his tongue. "What kind of bodyguard can afford something that expensive?"

Noelle gave him a look. "Did you think he was always a bodyguard? Don't embarrass yourself with that narrow worldview."

Justin was fuming from the humiliation and stormed off without another word. Mia couldn't help laughing. "Justin's probably dying from embarrassment."

Noelle agreed. She didn't want him hanging around getting in the way, either.

Mia asked, "So, Noelle, have you picked your car?"

Noelle hesitated. "I want to buy a normal car."

"Why?" Mia was surprised.

Noelle replied seriously, "To look pitiful in front of the media and gain public sympathy."

He was as calm as ever. Mia sneaked a look at him. Did she look like someone who needed it? Clearly, Eugene had squeezed a luxury car out of Cedric, then turned around and gave it to her.

Mia held the key, honestly tempted to take Noelle on that drive.

Meanwhile, Noelle had crossed the street and bought herself a car.

Eugene said to them, "I'll drive. You two ride in the other one."

Mia looked nervous. "I don't really know how…"

Noelle took the key. "I'll do it."

After Noelle drove off with Mia, Eugene snapped a photo and drove behind them. Not long after, Cedric received the picture of Noelle in the driver's seat, looking sorrowful.

Just then, Liam approached him. "Mr. Greene, the Liddell family just contacted me. They want to discuss switching lawyers."

Cedric frowned. "Who do they think they are?"
