Jeremy poured her a drink and added, "No need to overthink it. This is just a guess, so the key is still getting that evidence. Once we have it, we'll know whether we were right or wrong."

After they left the restaurant together, he offered, "Let me give you a ride."

"No need, I drove here myself." Noelle tapped on her car keys, and the lights on her rugged SUV blinked.

"Not many women would drive something this wild," Jeremy commented, looking a little surprised. His car was parked right next to hers.

Noelle glanced at the luxury car and nodded. "Well, that does suit you." It seemed flashy and full of itself.
