I'd never looked forward to someone's reaction in my life more than I did now. While I didn't care about others or what they felt, I, for some strange reason, happened to care what she thought about our little cute meet. If we could call it that. I'd planned everything from the start, and now that the moment had come, a small part of me couldn't help but feel proud of myself. The reaction I'd gotten from her was satisfying as fuck, and I would be lying if I said I was going to forget the look on her face.
If it was up to me, best believe I would have taken a picture of her and probably frame it. Not only would I hang it up, but I would probably hang it next to a drawn image of her, but naked this time.
I bit back the sly smirk that made its way to my lips as I pulled myself out of my thoughts. Time seemed to have slowed a bit, and it felt like we were the only ones who mattered in the world. Her eyes were still on me, and while her brain obviously rushed to come up with a solution or explanation as to why I was here, I took that as my cue to take her in.
She was beautiful, with her hair tied up and a few stray strands cupping her face. Her eyes shone with a million and one emotions, but the most obvious ones happened to be shock, with a hint of something else. Something else that had blood rushing to my groin. Simply put, she looked priceless, like a deer caught in headlights, or like a prey who never thought his time to be hunted would come. But alongside all of that, was something else.
She looked relatively upset.
Did she not want to see me again? Had she not enjoyed herself last night? Or what if she was like that because I'd left without a word?
Many more possibilities swirled around in my mind, but before I could consider any of them, a voice broke through my thoughts.
“Are you listening, young man?” It was the teacher, and I took the frown he was wearing that I'd missed half of what he'd said. “Introduce yourself to the class please.”
“Hi. I'm Kye.” I didn't bother apologizing and as I spoke,I made sure my eyes didn't leave hers. “Happy to be here.”
A couple of murmurs rose from the other students, but I wouldn't say I cared. I wanted her to remember the name, I wanted it imprinted in her mind, not like she was going to forget though. She couldn't, even if she wanted to. The teacher nodded in my direction, and I took that as my cue to leave. I did a quick scan of the classroom, and the moment I spotted an empty seat next to her, I almost let out a victory dance. She stiffened the moment I sat next to her, and while that was amusing, I didn't focus on that.
Sitting next to her made my blood boil. I was finally going to get my revenge, and this was only the beginning of it all. Baby steps as people called it. By the time I was done with her, she wouldn't be able to tell what the hell hit her.
The rest of the class passed by in a blur. I didn't bother concentrating because I knew it would only be a waste of time. The girl seated by my side though, had a completely different outlook to things. It was obvious she tried her level best to ignore me, but my presence and aura was just too much for her. She'd knocked down her pen more times than I could count, and all through the class, she didn't do much as crane her neck in my direction.
She must have been on edge though, because the moment the warning bell chimed, she was out the door like a wounded pup searching for shelter. I let her run, because it didn't matter. No matter how far she thought she could get away from me, she was still going to walk into my trap.
