“Give me that.” Heat prickled at her cheeks, tinting them red, and perhaps if the scenario was different, I would have called her cute, but it wasn't. She reached out to grab my phone, but I was faster, dangling it above her head instead. “Give me that phone right now, you asshole.
“I have a better idea instead.” My voice dropped to a whisper as I pushed her against the wall instead. She was pinned and for a minute, I allowed the feel of my name on her tongue wash over me. “You're mine now, you and your pussy. For the next three months you will be at my neck and call in bed. Whenever I want you, you will listen and you will come. You can't say no, you can't refuse me. It's either that, or I'll send the video not only to your parents, but the entire school too.”
That must have done the trick because she let out a warped cry. I didn't wait to see what other reaction she had up her sleeve. The moment I was sure to have passed across my message, I pushed away from her, before heading in the opposite direction.
I allowed my feet to carry me faster than normal, and in no time, I was standing in front of the coach.
“Good morning.” He raised his head at me. “I'm Kye, I'm new. I would like to try out for the team..”
The bald old man didn't say a word, at least not for the next few seconds. Instead, his eyes raked over me, like he could tell if I was a good player or not simply by looking at me.
“Fine.” Coach coughed. “If you're good at the field today, then you can play.”
Since that was a good enough answer for me, I nodded once before heading out and towards the field. I'd barely arrived when I locked eyes with someone.
Liam.
My blood boiled at the sight of him, and even though my true motive for being here quickly rise to the top, I pushed it back down again. Now wasn't the time for that. A smile made its way to my lips and I let it. Who knew when last I was going to be smiling this genuinely?
The game lasted for a while, and even though it was tasking to say the least, the coach's words at the end of it made it worth it.
“You've really impressed me, lad.” He slapped a hand to my shoulder. “You're in.” The other players whooped and cheered all around me at the news. A couple of them even hoisted me up on their shoulders in celebration.
A couple of moments later, I was getting ready to leave when someone's footsteps reached my ears.
“Hey.” I recognized the voice immediately, but I acted cool. Slowly, I raised my head to come face to face with Liam. “Weren't you at the party last night? How were you in attendance when you only just joined our school?”
Smart question. I almost voiced out my thoughts. Instead of doing that, all I gave him was a grin, before walking out of the so called conversation. Perhaps if he really knew what my plans were, he would prepare rigorously by trying to avoid it, rather than spend his free time asking me stupid questions.
The rest of the school day went by in a blur and before long, it was time to go home, but I didn't want to. Not yet, or more specifically, not without stirring up some drama first. I had just walked into the parking lot, when I caught sight of her, Ava.
