Sienna tensed beside me. I could feel her confusion, her discomfort, but I kept my hand on her lower back, grounding her. She needed this.

Lysandra leaned forward. “What formality? Calling an Omega Luna now I really am impressed. How? Does your mother approve of this? Or maybe wait? She does encourage it, doesn’t she? Do you know to worry about your position at all, Damon? Gesturing for something like this as you’re Luna, do you not find yourself being concerned?”

I stepped to the head of the table, gesturing for Sienna to stand beside me.

“This company has long been under a divided shareholding system. You, Giovanni, and myself have had equal footing. But as of this morning,” I turned to Sienna and reached into my coat, pulling out the legal documents and placing them on the table, “forty-two percent of my shares have been transferred to her. Shared with her, the two of us are using it under my name and her own.”

Lysandra’s face paled.

“What?” she hissed, rising to her feet.

“Sienna is now my partner. Officially,” I said. “She is also managing the primary operations in-house. Her office is two doors down from mine. Any decisions you need to run through me, now go through her too. And nothing happens without her and my approval.”

“You’re giving her your shares?” she snapped. “Shares that you refused to share with me. You are giving, you are sharing with her?”

“No.” I looked her dead in the eye. “I’m giving her power. A place. And protection. And more importantly… I’m giving Giovanni something to chew on. So when you run to your father, and you will, you can let him know exactly who Sienna De Luca is now.”

Lysandra’s eyes narrowed, rage boiling just under the surface. “What kind of game did you play on him for him to be willing to give you something like this?”

Sienna, to her credit, stood tall. She didn’t hide behind me. She didn’t flinch. She didn’t even look surprised anymore. She looked… ready.

“I didn’t ask for this,” she said, her voice calm. “But I’m not going to say no. If I’m going to be a mother and protect my daughter, I need to be able to stand on my own. And I don’t need anyone’s permission for that. Not yours, and definitely not your father’s.”

Lysandra’s jaw clenched, and for a second, I could swear she was holding back a scream.

“Dismissed,” I said coldly, turning away.

Sienna followed me out, the door shutting behind us with a firm click.

And for once… she didn’t argue.

She just stared at me like she finally saw it, what I’d been trying to show her from the start.

That she wasn’t just someone I wanted beside me.

She was the storm.

And I was done pretending otherwise.

Because I wanted her by my side with everything that I had.
