Ferris vaguely remembered something about five years ago.

He remembered their wedding, when he left Aurora alone on their wedding fight.

He remembered when Aurora’s mother passed away, she was covered in tear while he showed no concern whatsoever.

Ferris wanted to remember more, but his head hurt even worse.

He could only stop trying to remember and looked toward Mary: “Mary, I can promise you that.”

Mary was stunned, then heard Ferris say: “I won’t watch the person I like many another man. I promise I’ll change, I’ll definitely be good fo her, and I’ll never hurt her again.”

But Mary didn’t believe his lies: “Your current change is only because you can see. If you were fine, you wouldn’t be good to her at all”

Ferris couldn’t argue. He now knew that only by letting Mary see his change with her own eyes would she believe him.

Mary was too angry to talk to Ferris anymore and went back to her room alone

Ferris hadn’t eaten since returning home. With Aurora not back and remembering what the caregiver said before leaving – that she might not return for several days.

“What is it?”

“Where are you now?” Ferris got straight to the point.
