But just as Bert pondered this, Tyler’s phone rang. It was that A-list actress from yesterday.

Tyler’s voice turned syrupy sweet. “Hey, sweetheart, didn’t I already get you what you wanted? I won’t hold the trending topic against you.”

This trending topic was orchestrated by the actress’s team, using Tyler to boost the drama’s storyline and position her as the irreplaceable lead, making her seem indispensable to the director.
