"Hold on," Jordan chimed in. "I was the one who got kidnapped. If anyone's gonna tell you, it should be me."

"Alright," Debra said, taking a deep breath. "Go ahead."

It had been haunting her in her dreams, which felt so real. They couldn't be just simple dreams.

"We crossed a lot of people back then," he sighed. "People from the Illuminati. Jeffery orchestrated the kidnapping."

"I know that part," Debra said. "You got kidnapped. Your parents tried to save you but died in a car crash. And Andrew lost his legs. But what's that got to do with me? Why was I taken too?"

Her parents had never mentioned it. She had no memory of it either.

"I was just a kid," Jordan said. "I didn't know everything. Maybe Jeffery wanted to take down the four families. He grabbed me and threw you in for good measure. It was a heavy blow to the two families."

He looked up and continued, "My parents couldn't rescue me, but your parents managed to save you. Marion and I didn't tell you because we figured those memories didn't matter. Marion didn't want you to relieve that pain."
