Asher walked in carrying a makeup case. After opening it, he spread its contents out on the table. "Mr. Oliver, would you like me to do your makeup? Even if you wear a mask, it'll be easy for people to recognize you. The mask can't cover your eyes and mouth. If someone observes carefully, they might still recognize you."

Oliver nodded, “Just a touch-up, I’m pressed for time.”

Asher, understanding the assignment, kept it minimal. He wasn't about to test his liberties on Mr. Oliver's face. Asher was extremely fast. He didn't know how to do makeup himself, but after working with Oliver and seeing him disguise himself, he had to start learning.

Next, he handed Oliver a set of clothes. Once the black mask was secured over Oliver’s features, and he had slipped into a dark trench coat, he was virtually unrecognizable from the man he was before.

Josefina hadn't come to Demon's Isle with Hayden. Instead, she mingled with a crowd of girls and made her way onto the island.

Upon reaching the shore, she found a secluded spot and sat down. Her eyes quickly surveyed the area before she quietly slipped away unnoticed. Armed with the layout of Demon's Isle, she began her search for Livia, moving from one spot to the next.

Her agility and sharp senses served her well, for an hour passed without a soul detecting her presence. Yet, despite her tireless search, Josefina came up empty-handed.

Voices approached, and she quickly ducked into a nearby room, hiding herself in a wardrobe amidst the lingering traces of its occupant.

In walked Oliver with an underling. Oliver’s voice was deep and raspy, aged beyond his years. “Why the hell are we ferrying a boatload of women to this rock?”

The henchman, treading on eggshells, explained, “The old timers said the island lacked a lady's touch, so they shipped over a bevy of women for you to choose from. They’re all yours for the taking, if you please.”

Oliver practically erupted, “Send them back where they came from!”

The henchman, Harry, suggested, trying to smooth things over, “Well, they’re already here. Maybe take a peek? If you don’t, those codgers will stir up trouble again.”

Harry shrank back, vowing not to grumble again.

Oliver remained inside the room. After keying in a code, he retrieved an item and finally stepped out. Five minutes later, when the coast was clear, Josefina cracked open the wardrobe door for a quick recon.

Worry etched itself into Josefina’s brow, as she still got no sign of Livia. She climbed out the window and resumed her search.

Another hour ticked by with no luck, and just as she was about to leave, a door flung open, and she was hauled inside.

Josefina was taken aback. Her instincts kicked in, and she launched a spinning kick, which missed its mark , and her foot was swiftly grabbed. She threw a punch, and the attacker moved to block. Seizing the moment, her foot was freed, and she landed a powerful kick squarely in the man's chest.
