She wasn't ready for this! She had promised Grant an extra day. Oliver was coming back tomorrow. What was she supposed to do?

With a soft cough and a chuckle, Josefina confessed, "Oliver, there's something I need to tell you. I also took off, not long after you left Westwood. I didn't want to worry you, so I kept it to myself."

Oliver was silent, his gaze fixed on her, somewhat taken aback.

Josefina glanced at him shyly, then flashed a sweet smile. Her smile was so charming that Oliver just couldn't stay mad at her. "Josie, you are keeping such important news from me," Oliver said with a resigned chuckle.

"I came to visit my mentor. It's been ages since I've been here, and he's been missing me."

"I miss you too. Would you come and visit me?" he asked, half in hope.

"I would."

Oops, that slipped out. Josefina started to worry. Oliver wouldn't actually ask her to come over, would he? Anxious thoughts swirled in her head, and she was on edge, dreading that Oliver might nod in agreement.

To Oliver's surprise, Josefina had agreed, but now he couldn't possibly allow her to come. He was concerned that it might blow his cover.

Both were of the same mind, and now it was up to Oliver to respond. "Better not, I don't want to put you through the hassle. Josie, I can't stand the thought of you enduring hardship. If anyone should bear it, it should be me."

Josefina asked, "Oliver, why do I get the feeling you're being evasive? Come clean, where are you really?"

"Josie, I'm not lying. It's just too much of a hassle for you to come here, too exhausting."

"Oliver, spin around, let me see what's in your room. You better not be hiding a woman in there."

"Josie, you're the only one for me. I couldn't care less about anyone else."

"Then spin around."

Josefina hummed in response, and Oliver hung up the call. Asher approached him, "Those old timers nearly came to blows at the door."

"What happened?" Oliver inquired.

The elders, having received no response from Oliver, were getting antsy. One by one, they sneaked over with gifts, hoping to ingratiate themselves. By coincidence, they all arrived at Oliver's place at the same time and ran into each other.
