Sarah's face went pale. "It was her!"

"Who do you think it is?" Melvin asked urgently.

Sarah nodded. "Sydney. It couldn't be anyone else. I forgot to take the files with me that day after bringing them home. She must have snuck into my room."

Melvin's expression darkened. "There are no cameras in the bedrooms, and the hallway cameras only catch movement on the stairs. There's no evidence of anyone at your door."

He suspected the culprit had planned this carefully.

Sarah shook her head. "Nothing. Have you had any nightmares these past few days?"

Mia smiled. "No, I never have nightmares when I'm with you. Sarah, are you sure you're okay? You look so tired."

"Mia, really, I'm fine. Don't worry about it. Go rest - we still have therapy later," Sarah quickly sent Mia away.

Mia went back to her room and stared at her brother's name on her phone screen, debating whether to call him.

“Zach! Where are you?"
