Sarah firmly pushed Zachary away and spoke coldly, "No need, Mr. Reynolds. You should go back. I don't need your concern."

"Sarah, it's cold. Please, just let me take you home?" Zachary's voice was urgent.

But Sarah still refused, resisting his presence, not wanting him to come closer.

"Mr. Reynolds, I really don't need this. This kind of concern... things ended between us long ago. Please don't come near me and cause misunderstandings." Sarah lowered her eyes.

She didn't want him to see the tears in her eyes, her nose red and stinging.

Sarah stared at Zachary's feet, waiting until he turned to leave before slowly looking up. Watching his dejected figure walk away, for a moment she wanted to run after him.

It hadn't been that long, but he looked much more haggard.

Sarah turned to leave, but after a few seconds, she heard a heavy thud behind her. That dull sound gave her a bad feeling.

Looking back, Zachary had collapsed. Her heart jumped, and she ran to him. "Zachary! Zachary!"

His face was pale, his lips colorless. She touched his forehead - burning hot!

No wonder his embrace had felt unnaturally warm earlier.

Zachary's car was nearby, but she couldn't lift him. Fortunately, some passersby helped her get him into the car.

At the hospital, the doctor diagnosed him with exhaustion and collapse from excessive stress.

Only after learning he was okay did Sarah finally relax. Still in her wet clothes, she had just gotten home when Mia came rushing up to her.

The hot medicine warmed her stomach. Just as she was about to head back to the hospital, Mia blocked the doorway.

"Sarah, where are you going?" Her eyes were full of questions.

Sarah wanted to tell her about Zachary being in the hospital, but remembering Mia's condition had only recently stabilized, she held back.

She answered simply, "I need to go to the company to handle some things."

Mia immediately thought of the recent proposal incident. "I understand."

After that press conference, Vivian seemed to have given up on the stolen proposal.
