But seeing how hurt Mia looked, she placed her hand on the girl's shoulder and said gently, "Though I don't know exactly what happened or what truth and evidence you're talking about, you should trust your brother. When we were in West Ridge, his reaction after learning the truth wasn't much better than yours. His eyes were filled with shock."

She paused before continuing, "Now that you know the truth, you both clearly understand what you need to do. Isn't it better to see things clearly rather than remain in the dark?"

At least they wouldn't need to keep guessing or lie awake night after night.

Mia nodded gravely, then asked with confusion, "Sarah, my brother hasn't told you about it?"

Sarah smiled faintly and shook her head. "If he wanted me to know, he would tell me himself."

"Sarah, whatever decision my brother makes, I believe he would never hurt you. Just like you told me, we can trust him," Mia said.

Sarah checked the time on her phone. "It's getting late. We should hurry."

"Okay."

Clearly, Zachary doted on Mia, as the villa's security system recognized her fingerprints.

After opening the door, Sarah noticed the carelessly placed leather shoes in the entryway, confirming Zachary should be there.

A suit jacket lay haphazardly on the sofa. While Sarah was still examining the room, Mia had already run to the bedroom to check if her brother was there.

"Mia, call Steven now and ask what we should do. Should we take him to the hospital?" Even in this critical moment, Sarah maintained her rare composure.

Mia immediately took out her phone and called Steven. Only after getting clear instructions did she hang up.

"Sarah, Steven says he'll come handle this. He wants us to help get my brother out of the tub first." Mia looked worriedly at the unconscious Zachary.
