Anastasia was still a little worried and was about to speak when a housemaid hurried in to announce,

“Ma’am, your cousin Ms. Brennan is here!”

Anastasia immediately replied, “Bring her in, quickly!”

Juliet had taken a few days off recently, so Anastasia hadn’t seen her in a while.

Led in by the maid, Juliet’s eyes went straight to Anastasia. The moment she saw her cousin sitting in a wheelchair, her expression changed instantly—she couldn’t hide her worry and anxiety.

Only then did Juliet notice Harrison and Lady. She’d met her cousin’s husband before, but this was her first time meeting his grandmother, and she instantly felt a bit nervous.

“Oh, really? Come here, let me have a look at you,” Lady beckoned with a smile.

“Juliet, this is your cousin’s husband’s grandmother. You can just call her ‘Grandma’ too.”

Juliet, shy and a little awkward, glanced at her cousin several more times. Seeing that, although Anastasia was in a wheelchair, she otherwise seemed fine—just an injured ankle—Juliet finally relaxed a little. She obediently walked over to Lady and greeted her softly.

Juliet replied, “I heard something happened to you at the school anniversary, so I came to check on you…”
