“I just got back to Drakoria and heard that the Nolan Group has been struggling because of a celebrity.

“That celebrity, Levi, is my cousin. If I ask him/he won’t keep going after the Nolans.

“And as for that influencer, I’ve got dirt on her. That won’t be a problem”

Irene lit up with joy. “Yvette, if you pull this off, you’ll be doing the family a huge favor.”

“Yeah, we’ve all been stressed about this!” Sandy added excitedly.

Ruby turned to Alice and said, “You should thank Yvette as well.”

Alice smiled meaningfully. “Is the issue solved yet? I’ll thank her once it is. Sounds fair?”

Sandy snorted. “Yvette, call Levi right now and show her what you can do!”

Yvette looked at Eric. “What do you think?”

He seemed impatient and checked his watch.

“If there’s nothing else, we’re leaving.”

He made it obvious he didn’t care at all about her grand offer.

Yvette’s pride took a hit. She couldn’t just let him go.

“Wait, Eric. Stay and see this for yourself.”

She whipped out her phone. “I’ll put it on speaker.”

As soon as she said that, she quickly called Levi.

On the other end, his voice sounded tired. “What do you want, Yvette?”

Yvette’s face turned serious. Her tone was full of blame.

“Levi, why are you going after the Nolans? Come over here and apologize to Mrs. Irene right now!”

Irene relaxed when she heard that.

Everyone else in the family also looked relieved, and their mood improved.

Some of them were already scheming ways to put Levi in his place and show him the consequences of messing with the Nolans.

Alice blinked and glanced at Yvette.

This whole stunt felt a bit outdated. Did Yvette seriously think Levi would listen to her?

If Levi were truly the type to back down that easily, he wouldn’t even be good enough for a backup actor.

She turned to look at Eric.

He had his usual cold, unreadable face, like he couldn’t care less about any of that.

Everyone else, though, was glued to Yvette’s phone, staring like they could will Levi into submission with just their eyes.

Then, Levi’s tired voice came through the speaker.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me, Yvette.”
