Behind Irene, her entourage began whispering among themselves.

“Why hasn’t Levi said anything yet? Is he trying to get blacklisted?”

“Mrs. Irene showed up personally. That’s a huge gesture–and he’s acting like a diva?”

“He’s just a small celebrity. This is too much trouble for someone like him. Just blacklist him already.”

“Mrs. Irene probably only came out of respect for the Quintanas.”

“Right, the Quintanas used to have some ties with her. She wouldn’t go too far for their sake.”

“Levi isn’t even an important member of the Quintanas. He’s just a distant branch, yet he acts like he’s some A–lister. Ridiculous.”

“Yeah, he’s let the fame get to his head.”

The voices were low, but Levi heard every word crystal clear.

His hands clenched into fists.

Everything he had now, he had fought for.

He may not have had much status in the Quintanas, but after graduating from college and refusing to live under constant pressure, he had chosen to break into the entertainment industry instead.

Once word spread in the company group chat, employees started gossiping, and every single comment made its way to Alice’s ears.

“I heard Levi only showed up to fix the issue because Mrs. Irene got involved.”

“I knew it. With how fiercely loyal his fans are, there’s no way Levi would be that submissive… Turns out it was all because of Mrs. Irene.”

“Ms. Randall went to greet him earlier, but he didn’t even acknowledge her.”

“This time, Mrs. Irene is going to tighten her grip on the fashion department. She might even snatch a few other departments too.”

“I don’t care about the rest. I just hope the IT Department stays safe–it’s finally running well.”

Just as Alice opened the door, all the chatter outside suddenly died, as if everything had just been a figment of her imagination.

She sneered quietly to herself.

Before she could say anything, a commotion started at the entrance.

“Look! Levi’s here!”

Everyone turned toward the door.

Sure enough, Levi stood there, a faint smile in his eyes.

“Mrs. Nolan, I’ve been waiting for you. I know you’re busy, so I figured I’d come find you myself.”
