Daniel felt disgusted by Ruby’s viciousness.

Although Henry had warned them before, he always felt that they were family bound by blood.

Car racing isn’t like regular driving.

And besides, the last time Alice drove, she had a car accident.

“Mr. Eric, please talk some sense into her.”

Eric’s fingers tapped on the armrest of the couch.

Then he slowly spoke, “Go to the garage.”

Daniel shot back, “What?!”

This couple had gone crazy–absolutely insane.

Late at night, the underground garage was lit up.

Alice stood in front of a row of cars, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

She stepped forward and caressed the car’s hood.

“This one looks good.”

Daniel brought over the car keys.

She opened the car door and got in.

She tested them one by one.

The engines roar like wild animals, deafening.

Finally, she stepped out of a silver–gray car and stood in front of it. “I want this one.”

Daniel looked completely shocked.

“Mr. Eric, this is the one you assembled yourself.”

When Eric was younger, he loved racing and had dozens of garages.

But this car had always been his favorite.

He had named it “Silverfox Phantom.”

Every part of the car had been handpicked by him.

Many components weren’t available domestically, so he flew abroad to purchase them.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say Eric had an emotional connection with “Silverfox

Phantom.”

For a moment, he couldn’t decide if Alice’s choice was bold or just crazy.

Daniel was stunned and shot back, “What?!”

His pupils widened in shock.

He seriously suspected that Eric had been possessed.

“No problem,” Alice replied.

Daniel felt like his world had turned upside down.

One concern settled, Alice yawned.

“Alright, I’m heading to bed. Good night.”

Eric’s tone was gentle. “Good night.”

Daniel pinched himself hard. “Mr. Eric, are you okay?”

He really thought Eric might be possessed.

The corner of Eric’s lips turned upward. “I’m fine.”

Daniel saw how happy he looked and suddenly realized something.

During the race, someone could sit in the passenger seat!
