“Stop avoiding me from now on. If you want to hang out with someone, just tell me directly. No need to be shy about it,” Wesley said, then leaned close and blew softly in her ear.

Sana shivered all over and completely gave up. She nodded frantically. “Fine, I agree to everything! Just let me go.”

‘This guy is like some kind of demon,‘ Sana thought. ‘If he keeps messing with me like this, I’m afraid he’ll end up carrying

me to bed again, and then there really won’t be any coming back from that.’

Wesley didn’t want to push her too far, so he decided to quit while he was ahead.

The moment Sana was free, she grabbed her bag and bolted. She was running so fast that she stumbled at the doorway.

Wesley stood there watching her run off, shaking his head with amusement. He wanted to tell her there was no need to

rush. Since he’d agreed to let her go, he’d keep his word whenever she wanted to leave.

But seeing how desperately she wanted to escape, Wesley figured it was better to keep his mouth shut. The last thing he wanted was for her to trip and fall because of him, which would only make him feel worse.

Sana didn’t stop running until she’d burst into the elevator. Only then did she dare to look back. When she didn’t see Wesley anywhere, she felt a strange pang of disappointment.

The moment Sana realized what she was feeling, she started shaking her head frantically. “Ugh, no way!” she muttered to herself.

‘What am I disappointed about?‘ Sana thought. ‘He didn’t follow me, which is perfect. I should be happy about this, not disappointed.‘

‘Don’t let his act fool you, Sana,‘ she warned herself.

Sana could see right through him now. All that polite, gentlemanly behavior–the whole refined, sophisticated image–it was all fake. Wesley was nothing but a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and he could screw people over without even blinking.

The more Sana thought about it, the angrier she got, though getting mad now seemed pretty pointless. Last night, she’d been the one who made the first move.

‘Ugh, Sana, why is your willpower so weak?‘ Sana thought miserably.

Sana was going crazy, but no matter how frustrated or regretful she felt, she couldn’t think of any way to completely shake off Wesley. By the time she walked into the office, she’d given up trying to come up with a solution and decided to just roll with it.

Wesley had promised he wouldn’t force her into anything, so she’d just go with the flow for now. Maybe after a while, he’d lose interest in her and she’d finally be free.

The more Sana thought about it, the more it made sense. She managed to convince herself this was the right approach. She drifted out of the elevator like a ghost, only to bump into Jessica stepping out of another elevator.

“Where did you go fooling around last night?” Jessica asked.
