Paula glanced at Danielle with a mocking smile. “You’re something else.”

Danielle stepped forward, her gaze cold and steady as she looked directly at Liam. “A discussion isn’t supposed to be a stage for you to show off. If you only want to hear yourself echoed, you might as well buy a smart speaker and entertain yourself at home.”

She turned her cool eyes to Bianca and Paula. “Funny how the stupidest people are always the first to lecture others about ‘having some dignity.’ I guess people are most eager to stick their own shortcomings onto someone else.”

“Excuse me?” Liam looked at her, as if he couldn’t believe his ears.

“Do you even know who you’re talking to? Who are you to lecture my sister?”

“And you—a college grad—how dare you challenge Millie? Honestly, you’ll never measure up to her. Discussing technical matters with you is pointless. Your ignorance is obvious.”

She didn’t know anything, but she sure had the nerve to speak up.
