As Tara hugged Jonah, she felt safe. He silently pulled her into his embrace and said, "It's cold out here. Let's get into the car."

Suddenly, the courage Tara had a moment earlier was gone in an instant. Her ears started to turn red as he escorted her to the passenger seat. She felt too embarrassed to look at him.

After Jonah got in the driver's seat, he pulled her into his embrace and held her slender hands.

It felt warm in the car, and there was love in the air. She didn't know what to say at all.

He kissed her on the cheek and gulped before saying, "Since it's a special day today, I want to spend it with you."

She answered with a gentle hum, feeling nervous and shy. Then, he said with a smile, "Is there something you would like to tell me?"

"I… I'll go out with you," she said, too embarrassed to look him in the eyes. Right after she said that, she could hear him chuckling softly. His voice sounded more alluring while they were in the car.

Suddenly, her vision was blocked as Jonah kissed her on the lips. As his slender fingers gently caressed her ears and neck, his tongue went past her lips. She moaned gently, and her body went soft when their tongues met.

The kissing noises lasted for a long while in the car, and when Jonah finally let her go, she leaned against him shyly. It seemed as if he found her adorable as he suddenly chuckled and hugged her tighter.

Tara didn't want their relationship to be known to the public, so Jonah went along with her wishes. He would announce it to the world when she felt like it.

During the first month of their relationship, Tara moved into a huge house that Jonah had bought for her. The apartment she lived in previously was old, and the road outside would flood all the time. So, he couldn't stop worrying about her when she lived there.

Jonah didn't move in with her. Even though they kissed a lot and did it passionately, he never did any other intimate things with her. She could see him frowning sometimes, trying to hold back his urges.

Then, he comforted her in his attractive voice, "We can only get more intimate after we get married. I need to be responsible for you."

She looked at him with a touched gaze and hugged him tightly. Jonah chuckled and said, "If you do that, I'm going to lose control."

Despite hearing that, Tara still wouldn't let him go. So, he kissed her forehead and said softly, "I want to swallow you whole so badly."

She embarrassedly hit his arm and leaned against his chest. Her breath was as rapid as his heartbeat, and they were incredibly close.

After a few days, Jonah brought her back to the Pearson Manor, where his parents lived. There were animals like cows and horses, and they could all wander around the huge field. The cats and dogs that lived there were well-fed as well.

Jonah's parents personally cooked up a feast to welcome Tara, and his grandparents kept looking at her with a loving gaze.

Tara was a sensitive person, but she didn't feel any judgmental or arrogant gazes from them. Due to that, she felt relaxed. Meanwhile, Jonah kept calming her down as well, and he helped her grab the food nonstop.

Seeing how calm he was, she felt at ease as well.

Jonah's parents kept chuckling to themselves, and they didn't dare to look at Jonah and Tara. They didn't want Tara to feel uneasy.

Suddenly, Jonah's grandfather, Richard Pearson, nodded and complimented Jonah. "You did well, Jonah."

After that, Jonah and Richard spoke about Pearson Group, which took their attention away from Tara.

When they were done with their meal, Jonah was called to the study room by his father, Tony Pearson. Tara was in the living room, and Jonah's grandparents quietly walked away as they didn't want her to feel stressed.
