Tara steadied her nerves, pushed the meal cart to Soren's door, and raised her hand to knock a few times.

"It's not locked." Soren's voice came from inside.

Tara pushed the door open and walked in quickly. She wanted to move as fast as she could, afraid Soren might get upset.

Soren sat on the couch, watching her move efficiently like he might just… eat her alive.

He spoke slowly, "Shawn's not as simple as he looks. Stay away from him."

Tara hadn't expected him to say that instead of flying off the handle.

She didn't really understand why Soren would say something like that, but he knew Shawn better than she did.

Tara looked at Soren. His posture was relaxed, and neither his expression nor the tone of his voice suggested he was bluffing.

But what did it matter to her if Shawn was complicated or not? It wasn't like she was going out of her way to get close to him. This morning, she had no choice but to share the ride with him.

"You're overthinking it, Mr. Farrell. I didn't mean to get close to Mr. Wilhelm."

Soren let out a mocking laugh. "Then, how come you keep getting in his car, both coming and going? And during meals, you're always standing by his side."

His tone was nonchalant, but no matter how she heard it, it had a jealous edge.

Tara placed the last dish on the table, then stepped back a few feet to create some space. "It's my job. I treat all of you the same."

Soren's lips curled into a sarcastic smile. "That's not how it looks to me."

Tara realized he was hinting that he wasn't her first choice. She told him the truth. "Mr. Farrell… you kind of scare me."

That made his face darken. He didn't say anything else and just stared at her.

She felt a chill run through her under his gaze and took the chance to quickly push the meal cart out of his room. Luckily, Soren didn't try to stop her tonight.

She delivered Shawn's dinner last. Half the dinner shift was complete. She still had to collect the empty plates later.

She went into each band member's room to collect the dishes. Strangely, Lance didn't even look at her.

Soren, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. From the moment she walked in, his eyes never left her, making it impossible for Tara to even glance in his direction.

Still, she managed to gather the plates and leave his room.

After leaving Shawn's room, she pushed the meal cart toward the elevator, thinking, "Lance is probably starting to lose interest in me. As for Soren… I'd probably have to drag it out a bit longer before he got fed up again."

At 8:30 pm, she got off work and returned to her room. She sat on the couch for a bit and nearly forgot she had to bring Lance a glass of milk.

Around 9:10 pm, Tara warmed up a glass of milk and brought it upstairs for Lance.

She knocked on his door, and when he responded, she walked in with the milk.

Lance wasn't in the living room. Tara was about to set the milk down there when his tall figure stepped out of the bedroom.

She bent down slightly to place the milk on the coffee table. Seeing Lance, she gave him a polite smile. "Mr. Swain, your milk is here."
