My mother came and hugged me too.

After minutes of staying like that, I finally pulled away and wiped my tears.

"Father, there is something that I need to tell you"

"What is it son?" He asked confused.

And I told him from the beginning to the end, not missing one part because it may be important.

"Then he just went like that, I ran after him but he wasn't there. It's like he disappeared.

My parents both looked at me with a shocked face.

Suddenly they both gasped.

"That was one of the spirits, they came to you. This must be serious" My father whispered.

And we ended the night, thinking about what is going to happen tomorrow.

I looked at myself, I was a disaster. My eyes were puffy and red from all the crying, my skin was pale and my lips were dry, I couldn't even look at myself.

I put on my shirt as I walked out of my room to the car, were everybody was waiting for me to come.

I saw teddy in the other car, looking at me with sad eyes.

I smiled a small smile, not wanting him to be sad.

I'm happy, he wants this. He should be happy too.

I walked over to my parents car as one of the guards opened the car door for me.

All the pack members were looking at me with tears in there eyes.

I couldn't look at them because I knew that I will burst into tears.

And we were on our way to the red moons pack.

Were the elder is going to break the bond between us.

We were going with two cars because I can't see teddy.

I didn't want to see him.

"Max honey, are you alright?" My mother asked with a trembling voice.

"I'm fine" My voice cracked in the end.

Once we got there, my eyes were to the ground as my mother hand my hand guiding me to the elder room.

I could smell teddy's sense and it was driving my wolf crazy.

He was calling out for teddy's wolf, begging him not to do this.

The pack members from the red moons pack were all whispering, looking at us.

Teddy's mother. Angle, was crying as she held onto teddy's hand.

We walked into the elders room and angle closed the door behind her.

"Hello max, how are you?" Victoria asked as she smiled.

"I'm good" I forced a smiled.

"And who is this?" She asked as she looked at teddy but I knew that she was lying, she already knew teddy.

"I'm teddy, Maxs m-mate" He held out his hand and she shook it.

She smiled "So, why are you two boys here?"

I looked over to teddy and he looked over to me.

"I-I want t-to break t-the bond b-between u-us" He whispered.

"W-What!?" She looks between both of us "And max are you okay with this!"

"Yes"

Victoria sighed "Okay, I need everyone to sit in the other side of the room and I need max and teddy to lay on these two beds"

I walked over to the bed on the right and layed on it.

Teddy did the same too but he kept his eyes on the ceiling.

This is it.

Teddy isn't going to be my mate.

I'm never going to tell him I love him.

I hate my life.

Victoria brought a chair in between the beds as she began to say things in a different language.

Suddenly I could feel everything getting blurry, my wolf was quite and I knew that he fell asleep.

Pain shot through my body and I closed my eyes, letting darkness take over.

I woke up as quickly as I was asleep, teddy woke up the same time I did.

We looked at each other.

Teddy is not my mate anymore.

I'm not his mate.

His not my mate.

I sobbed as I stood up from the bed.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, we are still not finished" Victoria said "I need you both to touch each other's arms to see if there is any sparks"
