Albus sat in stunned silence for a long time. When he said nothing, the anger on his face slowly faded.

Standing in front of Albus, Raymond lifted a thumb toward Diana without the slightest restraint. "These days, you're the only one he listens to."

"You little brat!" That only made Albus look even worse. He grabbed a pillow and hurled it at him.

Raymond reacted quickly. He dodged and stepped back in the same motion, waving as he headed out. "Don't get mad. I'm leaving already."

Then he turned to Diana. "Call me if anything comes up."

Diana did not answer. She only flicked a hand to send him off.

The VIP floor was quiet.

After leaving the room, Raymond shoved his phone into his pocket and strode toward the elevator.

Just as he reached the corner, a fierce argument erupted from a room behind him.

"Fine! Then your mother and I were just unlucky to raise an ungrateful little wretch like you! But don't think you can dodge your responsibilities. Providing for your parents is your duty!"
