"So I plan to sell you for double the price I bought you at the auction for. I know someone who agreed to buy you." He said, a sinister smile on his face.

"Sure."

"Where do you think we're going? Do you see any other car on this road? We're at the edge of the city. The only place it leads to is the black market."

"I believe you."

A second later he stopped the car, got out and came to my side. He took a black cloth out from his jeans side pocket and tied it around my eyes right after opening the door. And I didn't object. Let's see what he's upto. I have a feeling I'll like what he has planned.

"Now cooperate with me and start walking." He grabbed my shoulders from behind and led me.

He made me walk a few steps, then stopped. "This was fun Emily. And we could have been so more if we both didn't love Adrian so much. You as a lover and I as a brother." He whispered in my ear from behind, leaving my confused.

"What are you going on about Lucas?" By then he left his hold on my shoulders. I heard retreating footsteps, and eventually the sound of his car engine.

He left.

I wanted to cry. Come back. You have no right to make assumptions about me. I decide who I love, not you! I quickly took the blindfold off, and turned around, only to be met with a chest.

"Adrian." I was definitely disappointed. I was perfectly okay with being in Lucas' presence.

"I know you're confused. But you owe me a date. Afterall I'm the one who bid on you."

Why am I being tossed around like this? "Why did Lucas have to escort me here when you bid on me. This is all so confusing. What the fuck is going on." I was angry at this point.

"That was Lucas' idea. He said you'd be disappointed to find out that he bid on you, then happ-ish when you find out that I'm the bidder." He said sheepishly while rubbing his neck. "I told him he was very wrong about that, but he kept insisting." Very wrong. It's the other way round Lucas, you dumbass.

"He actually believes that you like me or something. Funny right." Adrian mumbled as he laughed awkwardly. What the fuck?

"Very funny." I laughed. "Lucas being Lucas." I said between laughs. I don't like Adrian. I admitted to the physical attraction, but that's about it. Lucas has no right to pass such statements.
