After cleaning all the rooms, I decide to go talk to my brother and investigate.

"Uhm Marco? I can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask peaking in his room hoping that the clothes are nicely packed and not on the floor. If you know what I mean.

Luckily he was sitting by his table doing homework/ an assignment.

"Yeah? What you wanna talk about?" He asks turning around to face me. I walk up to his bed and sat by the corner.

"So.... How is Luca doing?" I ask quickly, hoping that he doesn't get any ideas.

"Why do you-" he points at me "-wanna know anything about Luca?" He finishes and crosses his arms.

"Just......" I say in a high pitch voice. Hoping he believes me.

"Liliana Sarah Los Poderoso! You are my twin sister, you get a high pitch voice and you lick your lips when you lie. Like your doing now" he points to me again

I quickly put my lips into a straight line. I always hated it when he knows I am lying, he would literally blackmail me when we were kids.

*5 years back*

I watch as mami walks around in a rush looking around for something, in the corner papa is impatiently tapping his foot looking at his watch every five minutes.

"Amor, please hurry up. We might miss the reservation" papa pipes up.

She brushes her hair out of the way searching between the couch cushions, "I know I know papi, but I can't find my earring anywhere. I had it on just now" she says.

I look left to right innocently, Marco comes into the house covered in mud and dirt coming from whatever it is he was doing.

"Marco honey have you seen my earring?" She asks him, his gaze falls into me giving me an accusing look.

Mami catches on this and looks at me, "Lili?" She says sternly.

Warm tears gloss over my eyes as I take the earring from underneath me, "i-I just don't want you to go" I cry loudly.

A tad angry she comes and takes the earring from me, "bebita you shouldn't have done that, your papa and I will be back sooner than you think" she soothes and wipes away the tears.

More tears fall freely down my cheeks, "but I don't wanna stay with Marco! He's gonna make me his slave!" I argued close to throwing a tantrum like a five year old.

"He won't right bebé?" She asks looking at him.

"Scouts honor" he promises, my mouth falls open.

"He wasn't even a scout!" I argue, papa comes to my side holding something in his hand, "here mija have some chocolate" that was enough to shut me up completely.

I wiped away the tears and grabbed for it but he pulled back, "one block each, if we come home and get no arguments you'll both get a whole slab each. Entendido?" We both nod our heads.

He gives us both one and I catch it as he puts the rest of the slab in on top of the fridge, without savoring it I finish my block in a second, our parents say goodbye as they leave.

Being the chocolate obsessed kid I am I took a chair and climbed onto the counter then took the chocolate from the fridge. After Marco left the house to go play with our pet dog. I carefully opened it and take two more blocks.

*Present day*

That night I went to the bathroom Lord knows how many times, and when my parents asked why the chocolate was missing, we both said we know nothing.

But Marco caught on and well, I was forced to do his homework and chores till I came out with the truth.

"Fine, he was acting all weird today, first he tried to let's say convince or lure me into having sex with him, then he kissed me, then he calls me Novia, then an incident happens this morning which causes him to try and do what seems like making a move on me, then he buys me a box of chocolates and said something that was supposed to sound like a compliment" I finish almost out of breath.

Once I got to my room, I found a bouquet of flowers along with chocolates and a beautiful dress and heels. I guessed it was from my parents, but the letter left there said otherwise.
