"Let's see if you're even up to the task!" Sebastian scoffed as he drew the Harmony Blade. It was his destined weapon. After over a year of nurturing with spiritual energy, it had recently advanced to a low-grade spiritual artifact just a month ago.

Seeing this, Evander smirked with disdain. "A mere low-grade spiritual artifact? I expected you'd have a trump card, and this is all you have?"

As he gently stroked the blade, Sebastian replied with a smirk, "This sword is called Harmony Blade, my destined weapon. It has yet to taste blood since I forged it. You, however foul you may be, do have the honor of being in the Intermediate Deity Realm, so your blood will suffice for its first tribute."

Enraged, Evander snarled, "You little brat, you're at death's door and still dare to mouth off! Watch how I deal with you!"

With that, he took a single step forward and appeared just above Sebastian. There was an overwhelming energy radiating from him like a sea threatening to crush everything beneath it.

In Evander's eyes, Sebastian might be talented, but his youth meant his strength couldn't be too high. As an Intermediate Deity Realm, Evander believed he could force Sebastian to his knees with sheer pressure alone.

But, to his surprise, Sebastian remained steady. There was even a mocking smile on his face as though the pressure had no effect on him.

"What are you staring at, you old fool? If you're going to do something, hurry up. Once I'm done with you, I need to get back for dinner," Sebastian said with irritation.

"You little brat, you're asking to die!" Evander's fury boiled over, and he kicked down at Sebastian with explosive force. An Intermediate Deity Realm's attack was far from ordinary, and Sebastian recognized the danger, so he swiftly sidestepped.

Almost simultaneously, a thunderous boom echoed as Evander's strike smashed into the ground, creating a massive crater nearly 20 feet wide while flinging dirt and rocks into the air. The entire valley trembled violently under the impact.

"That's a level five killing formation!" Evander exclaimed in startlement. He quickly began dodging.

Despite the dense onslaught of sword energy, Evander's strength was undeniable. He managed to evade most of the strikes, and those he couldn't avoid, he shattered with punches.

Evander snarled furiously, "So, this is why you're confident. I didn't think you'd set up a level five killing formation here!"

Sebastian sneered. "My apprentice and I spent an entire day and night without rest to set up this formation. We even stayed in the air the whole time to make sure you wouldn't notice, without disturbing so much as a blade of grass. Dying in this formation isn't an undeserved end for you."

Evander laughed as he maneuvered through the formation. "You're celebrating too early, brat. A mere level five formation? Open your eyes wide and watch how I dismantle it!"
