The leader was indeed Caspian himself, with Louis standing right beside him.

"This bastard really had the audacity to come into our home and attempt to assassinate you, Father. He's courting death!" Louis sneered coldly.

Caspian smirked. "This guy managed to take down the Four Strongmen, the Dark Troops, and Dorian's group. His strength is not to be underestimated.

"I wouldn't have guaranteed victory in a direct confrontation. But he's foolish enough to walk right into our trap. Today, he won't leave this place alive."

"Father, that little wench Leticia betrayed us by colluding with an outsider to harm you. She's worse than an animal. Should I just kill her?" Louis asked viciously.

Caspian was equally enraged, and he replied coldly, "A traitor like her will certainly be dealt with, but right now our priority is to handle the intruder inside. We'll settle the score with Leticia later."

Meanwhile, Sebastian had already reached the underground palace, only to find it completely empty. He used his spiritual senses but detected no hidden chambers or secret areas, making him realize something was terribly wrong.

He immediately turned to run back outside.

Just then, a heavy metal door suddenly dropped at the entrance, moving at an incredible speed.

"Oh no!"

Sebastian was alarmed and quickly became a blur, trying to dash out before the metal door closed.

However, the door's speed was far too quick. As he reached the exit, a loud bang resounded as the metal door slammed shut, causing the entire palace to shake momentarily.

At that moment, numerous holes appeared on the surrounding walls, releasing a dense black smoke. It was obvious these fumes were highly toxic.

By the time it was discovered, the toxic gas would have already done its damage.

Fortunately, Sebastian's spiritual senses were powerful, and he extended them throughout the entire underground palace, soon detecting something unusual.

Deep within the palace stood a chair. Its armrest appeared seamlessly fixed, but with his spiritual senses, he noticed it could move. Further probing then revealed a thin gold thread inside.

Without a second thought, he rushed over and lifted the armrest.

Accompanied by a rumbling noise, the metal door began to rise. As soon as it reached a sufficient height, Sebastian dashed out in a flash.

Upon reaching the exit, he leaped into the pavilion. At that moment, numerous boats appeared on the pond, surrounding him from all directions. There were at least dozens of them.
