"Sounds perfect." They leave, the door shutting securely and I'm left alone.
I can't move and I don't try. I let my self fade.
I don't know how long its been. I know I've thrown up blood three more times and faded in and out of the darkness countless times when the door opens.
I guess Sir is finished with discussing his methods and is probably coming to show them and possibly let them join in on the "fun."
Jackson stands there panting and runs up to me. I whimper. He's going to hurt me!
"Don't worry, I got you. I'm going to get you out of here." I try to get away but just whimper in pain as the scorching returns. "I promise you Everett, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm going to get you away from him."
I look into his eyes. He seems sincere and even if he isn't it probably won't be as bad as Sir. I nod and smiles before looking towards the door. I don't hear to see anyone. But maybe he does.
"We have to hurry." Jackson goes to the wall where the chain is connected.
Jackson winces when he touches the chain but doesn't let go. He continues to pull until the lock breaks. His hands are red and blistered when he walks back over.
He reaches me and picks me up gently. I whimper in pain as the scorching feelings continues through my body. I feel blood dribble out of my mouth, down my chin and onto my shirt more. "Your hands," I gurgle.
"Don't worry about them. They'll heal." He moves me so I'm on his back in a piggy back. I feel like someone from before used to do this to me too. "I'm sorry this is going to be rough but I'm going to get you out of here. I won't let him hurt you anymore."
"Okay," I whisper.
I hear someone running and I see Chase coming around the corner. "Jackson we have to get out of here. There's no way he's going to stay down for long. And his men are coming."
I try to hide behind Jackson. Chase is scary. He looked like Sir when he was in my room.
"Okay. Let's go." Jackson lifts me higher on his back and begins running. "Chase you shift and stay close. We are heading back home immediately. Do not do anything reckless!"
I had decided to have Justin and Alice join me at Michael and Emily's and hope that they could possibly stay there until I can arrange for someone else in the pack to take them.
Justin holds the flowers I had gotten earlier today to bring to Emily. She loves lilies. I let go of their hands to ring the door bell.
I hear foot steps before the door opens and Emily stands there, a soft smile on her face when she sees me. She's wearing beige jeans and a blue long sleeve button up, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Despite it being fall, the whether is a little warm.
"Well, who are these cuties?" Emily says looking at Justin and Alice.
"I'm Justin, and these are for you Ma'am." Justin hands her the flowers. I think I see a blush form on Emily's cheeks.
"Well thank you very much Justin. These are beautiful," Emily rubs her hand on Justin's head. "And who is this beautiful girl standing behind you?"
I hadn't noticed that Alice had moved from being on my right to stand behind Justin and hold his hand. Justin pulls her forward slightly so she stands beside him. "This is Alice. She's my mate."
