He only glanced at me before exploding in rage:

"Sarah, you bitch! Why did you provoke Emily?"

"You deserve to be beaten!"

I clutched Ashley's bleeding neck, but the pain in my abdomen and the fear in my heart rendered me speechless.

To John, my silence was an admission of guilt after being caught in a lie.

I didn't understand Emily's madness.

She had just slashed her future husband's sister's carotid artery with her own hands, and she still dared to call it acting.

Was human life so trivial in her eyes?

And John, the idiot, was actually preventing the doctor from saving his own sister.

If Linda knew she and her daughter were killed because of John, she might just come back to life and beat him to death!
