He stood up as he spoke, reaching into his pocket to retrieve a piece of paper.

"Grandma, we've already entrusted Liz's grandfather with naming Joy. It should be decided in the next couple of days, and I'll let you know as soon as it is."

Lizetta had assumed Remington had already informed Fiona about Nelson handling the naming duties.

She hadn't realized he hadn't mentioned a word of it.

She worried Fiona might take offense, but surprisingly, the older woman didn't seem bothered at all. She simply nodded with a warm smile.

"Having Nelson choose the name is a wonderful idea. He's a man of great culture and wisdom. The name he picks will undoubtedly be elegant and fitting..."

Nathan's expression, however, darkened instantly. He still pulled out the paper with his carefully selected names and insisted.

"Joy is the eldest grandson of the Dashiell family. His name should be chosen by us..."

Before Nathan could finish his sentence, Fiona shot him a sharp glare.

"Enough. It's just a name. It doesn't matter who picks it, as long as it's chosen with love."

Her eyes carried a clear warning, signaling him to keep his mouth shut.

It wasn't that her son lacked social awareness; he knew perfectly well he wasn't welcome here, yet he constantly demanded attention.

He had been placed on a pedestal his entire life, never facing real setbacks. He carried himself with such misplaced arrogance that, even at his age, he still couldn't read a room.

Nathan felt that naming his grandson wasn't something to be taken lightly.
