Acwell also remembered those days when he ended his relationship with Kamiah. He remembered it as one of the painful things that happened to him. It was hard spending months not being able to talk to her or see her. All he does was follow her on her social media to check how she was doing. He keeps missing her that sometimes he wanted to call her to say sorry but he can't. He was about to get married, so he must let her go.

One day, he was looking at Kamiah's Instagram account and Catrina saw it. It made her very furious. He knows she can tell that he is not fully into her, that is why her insecurities are as high as the roof. But the way she talks made him finally decide to end their relationship regardless of whether she is pregnant. He finds it unhealthy to be with someone that not a single day won't argue with him.

After that fight, he and Catrina never talk or see each other. He just busies himself with work. And when somebody told him that she already left, he immediately finds his way to rekindle with Kamiah. It was difficult to convince Kamiah. She has every right not to trust him. It took him months before she gave their relationship a second chance.

Catrina did not stop sending him messages or emails. She would always update him about the pregnancy. He even knows how happy she was when she found out that she would have a baby girl. She named her Amara, after her grandmother's name, and Selena, after his mom's name. Sometimes she would ask for financial help so she can prepare for the delivery and the baby's needs. But he would never reply. It doesn't mean that he was not that concerned about what she is going through. It's because he knows once he did, Catrina would think they are back together, and then she will start dictating and demanding him of what he must do.

This only changes after she sends him a video of the newly born Amara. She said she just gave birth and wanted to show him how the baby is. He could not deny that Amara looks like him. His heart aches for his daughter. He did not want her to be caught up in such a situation. But he was hoping, when she grows up, she would understand why he did what he did. And that same day, he emailed Catrina for the first time.

Catrina was so elated by his reply. She said she had never stopped waiting for she knows he will come around. She said she knows he cares for her and Amara. But Acwell clarified that he is only making contact because of their daughter and nothing more. He only wants to see how his daughter is doing and to provide her child support. Catrina replied angrily and swearing that they fight via email.

Eventually, Catrina agreed to Acwell's condition. She said she was not happy and deeply hurt, but for Amara, she would do it. Her savings are slowly depleting and she still doesn't have a job. She needs Acwell's financial help to raise Amara.

Until now, their situation is the same, but at least somehow Acwell is happy that Catrina got a job. They can now both share the expenses for their daughter.

Acwell and Kamiah did not talk about their flashbacks. They don't want to talk about things that would upset them both. Instead, they spend the next three months trying to improve their family life. They find more time to do family outings for Kai. It had been months filled with joy and beautiful memories, especially for Kai, who now knows how to walk.

One morning, Catrina sends Acwell a message reminding him to clear his schedule for Amara's birthday.

"Hi, Acwell! Amara will be here next month and will celebrate her second birthday on September 26. Please ensure to see her on that day."

"Nothing is enough for you, Catrina. Now, I need to go back to work."

"You always treat her like that. Even last time she was sick you did not even bother to call or answer my calls when you were just in a restaurant. That's right Acwell, I saw you."

"And so what if you saw me? I went there to eat. I guess I have all the right to do that, don't I? Look, Catrina, I am trying to do my responsibility for her. But you keep asking for more."

"Because you weren't there for her."

"If you are talking about being with you and raising her together, I am sorry I cannot do that!"
