I wasn't so scared anymore about the whole stalking thing , in fact I felt like the whole thing was just in my head, and no one was filling me for anything. I mean what would they want from me? Why would anyone stalk me?

With that energy, I got ready for work, not caring about the stalker, Antonio or even Noah. I got dressed in blue jeans and a multicolored wrap top; I paired my outfit with a pair of black stilettos. I looked in the mirror and smiled, I looked too damn good, but I was about to be late.

I grabbed my purse and everything I'd need at work, and rushed out of my apartment.

I texted Melissa, telling her to get me breakfast on her way to the office, but she responded that she already did. I loved that woman sometimes.

When I got to work, people had their eyes down or away from me, I guess no one wanted to get dragged like Anabeth. Speaking about Anabeth, when I got to the elevator, I saw her walking to the same elevator, but when she saw me, she took the stairs; I smirked and got in, that was how it was supposed to be if she didn't want to get an actual beating.

When I got to my office, I had the pancakes Melissa got for me. I started working immediately because I had a lot of work to do seeing as I missed a day of work.

One hour into work, Melissa peeped into my office, gaining my attention.

"Sewa, Mr. Blue is here" Melissa said and my mood changed immediately, what did he want from me?

"Good morning sir" I forced a smile on my face.

"Sewa, you can drop the formalities, how was your days off?" He asked.

"I have work to do sir" I dismissed.

"Right, well I came to apologize for the rumors that were going about" he said.

"Sewa..." Melissa peeped into my office again. I looked at her, confused as to why she was calling my name like that, but when I saw the ghost smile on her face, I knew exactly why she called me. Antonio was here. Now what did he want from me?

I looked at Mr. Blue, hoping he could just leave, but he wasn't making any move to leave. He was talking but I had no idea what he was saying.

The door to my office was pushed open and Antonio appeared.

"Cara I-" Antonio started to say but he paused when he saw Mr. Blue in my office.

"Are you running an employee check?" Antonio asked him.

"Antonio" I called him so he'd stop talking.

"No, my employee was away and I came to see her" Mr. Blue replied.

Antonio walked to Mr Blue, towering him.

"Okay now, this should be the last time I see you close to her, I don't even want to hear about it" Antonio warned. I stood up from my seat, but I stayed behind my desk as I didn't want to physically get involved.

"You were angry with me, you didn't want to talk to me" I told him.

"It was on Friday, when you told me to come get you, right?" He asked me and I nodded my head.

"But it's nothing, I even forgot that happened and no one was probably following me, I was just scared for nothing" I told him. He looked at me, like looking into my eyes, for a few seconds.

"You could've told me Cara" he rubbed my shoulder.

"I will get to the bottom of this okay?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I just told you it was a false alarm, you don't have to do that" I told him but he frowned.

"Well, one can never be too sure. I will find out what's going on, I want to know that there's nothing to worry about" he said and I nodded my head. I figured out that he had already made up his mind and he didn't come to ask me if he could investigate, he came to tell me he was going to do it; I knew I couldn't talk him out of it, and it would be nice to know for sure that no one was after me.

"You look beautiful," he said with so much seriousness. It was the first time he ever said that without my clothes off. I was shocked.

"Thank you sir" I smiled awkwardly and detached myself from him. I didn't want him to see the effect his words had on me. It was bad enough that I felt like telling him to fuck me on my desk.

"Don't you have work to do?" I asked him, he nodded and left my office. This was what I didn't want, I didn't want him to tie me emotionally, I didn't want to become one of the many girls he had done it to.
