That night, I went back to an empty house; I don't even think Antonio came back home that night, because I stayed up late to get some work done, I even watched a couple movies, but he wasn't home.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring wickedly in my ears, that was the punishment I got for being a deep and careless sleeper. I got dressed and had breakfast; somehow I could feel the emptiness in the house, the chef and the housekeeper were in the house, but Antonio wasn't home; I didn't have to check to know, I just knew. Wherever he was, wasn't my business anyway.

I sat in the car, thinking where Antonio could be. I know I said wherever Antonio was wasn't my business, but I wanted to know. I couldn't help but be worried. The last time he slept outside, he came back home covered in bruises and blood, I didn't want a repeat. I pulled out my phone from my bag and called Aliyah, she should know where Antonio was.

"Hey girl" Aliyah answered after the first ring.

"Hey, uhm, I'm really sorry for calling late, but Antonio didn't come home last night. Do you know where he is?" I asked her. I felt really bad for doing that, but I couldn't help it. I just wanted to know and be sure he was fine.

"Yeah, he's at my place. He called me yesterday to ask for my keys, saying he was going to spend the night at my place," Aliyah said. Why would he stay at her place when he could stay in any room he wanted in the house?

"Are you not with him?" I asked her, I wanted to know if he looked fine.

"Nope, Harry and I travelled for a shoot" She said and I nodded. I contemplated going over to Aliyah's house to check for myself if he was okay or not, but

I decided against it, I was going to be late for work anyway.

Two hours into work, Melissa rushed into my office, she had that look on her face; the one she had anytime Antonio was on his way here.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"You know who is on his way here" she smiled, wiggling her eyebrows. Antonio was here! Unconsciously, I smiled like a fool and when I noticed what I was doing, I stopped immediately, I didn't want him coming into my office and seeing me smiling.

I cleared my desk, awaiting Antonio but for some odd reason, he hadn't come to my office yet. Five minutes turned to ten, and ten turned to twenty, twenty minutes turned to an hour, Antonio didn't come into my office.

"Yes I am" I smiled sweetly at her.

"Thank you for keeping him company. I was scared he was going to die of boredom," I added. I gave Antonio a long hard stare and found my way to my room. Those two deserve each other, they were made for each other, and they both can go to hell together.

I would be the greatest liar on earth if I say I wasn't hurt. I mean it could've been any other person, any other person but fucking Anabeth. This was low even for Antonio, but I guess that was the way he wanted to play. I knew how I was going to get back at him for the stunt he just pulled, and the best part is, mine was going to hurt more.

Like they say in my country: Na second one dey pain pass.

(Translation: The second time hurts the most)

I would make him regret having anything to do with fucking Anabeth.
