Upon entering, their disdain for the renovated factory space only grew, and they mentally slashed their valuation for the acquisition. "Mr. Cedillo, this company is a bit deserted," the lead representative remarked.

Leo smiled. "Don't call me Mr. Cedillo. With that tone, someone might think you're addressing Andre Cedillo. I definitely can't live up to that."

The man gave a mocking smile but offered, "Then how about we call you Leo?"

Leo raised a hand with a laugh. "Let's not. This is our first meeting, and we aren't going to be friends, so there's no need for such intimacy. I don't mind if you call me Boss Cedillo, though."

Chunky lowered his head, biting his lip to suppress a laugh. In the end, Leo still maneuvered them into calling him a boss.

"You just said 'Mr. Cedillo' was reserved for Andre," the man countered. "Calling you Boss Cedillo makes it sound like you're his son."

Unfazed, Leo replied casually, "I'm definitely not his son, but I'm someone's son, and my dad's last name is also Cedillo. So, Boss Cedillo works just fine."

"I think we'll just stick to Leo," the female representative from Horizon chimed in.

Alyna spoke up. "If you're going to use first names so casually, does that mean we can call you by your first names too?"

The very first exchange had already turned hostile. It was clear the upcoming negotiations wouldn't go smoothly.

Chunky deliberately offered a way out. "Just call him Boss. It avoids Andre's name and doesn't ride on his coattails."

Without lingering on the issue of address, the Horizon representative cut straight to the chase. "Two million dollars. Golden Top gets absorbed into Horizon Technologies. How about it?"

"Make it twenty million, and I'll consider it," Leo replied.

The man sneered. "You've got quite an appetite."
