Anya took the afternoon off and showed up at Golden Top.

Alyna bumped into her while getting water downstairs. Seeing Anya's flushed, determined face and the angry spark in her eyes, Alyna knew exactly where she was headed. Anya practically jogged straight for the boss's office.

Chunky quickly stood up to intercept her. "Anya, you—"

"Leo!" Before Chunky could finish his greeting, Anya had already stormed into the room.

"Anya? What are you doing here?" Leo was still in shock.

Anya marched over and yanked the power cord straight out of the outlet. Instantly, Leo's monitors went black.

For some inexplicable reason, the decisive, ruthless way she pulled the plug made everyone in the office feel immensely satisfied.

Leo stood up, taking in the fiery anger blazing in his girlfriend's beautiful eyes. He immediately rushed over to shut the door, shielding his embarrassing moment from the staff. "Chunky, I know this was your doing."

Chunky didn't bother denying it.

Locking the door behind him, Leo pulled Anya close. "Anya, don't be mad. Come sit on my lap."

Anya shifted her hips away, refusing. She was still fuming. "How many days have you been playing games, Leo?" she demanded, starting her interrogation.

Outside, Alyna whispered to Chunky, "Did you tell her?"

"You wouldn't do it, and I wouldn't do it," Chunky replied. "Couldn't I at least bring in someone brave enough to pull the plug?"

And so, their savior had arrived.

Inside the office, Leo kept trying to hug her, but Anya remained stern. "No. You have to explain yourself first, then you can hug me."
