"You really need to go", she cleared her throat awkwardly while her hands brushed down on her dress, adjusting it properly, and I must admit, she really looked good in these tight fit dresses that wrap around her body, revealing her slim thick figure in all the right places. I couldn't help but study her as my eyes traveled up and down her body, capturing each glorious turn she took.
"Killjoy", I muttered under my breath, and she flicked a middle finger at me with a smug on her face
"Wait, so no breakfast?", I called out to her just when she was about to turn her back on me and walk out of the room
"I was going to make us some before you chose to open your mouth and ruined everything"
"Come on", I taunted while getting up from the bed to stand opposite her. "Surely that's not all it takes to get you speechless"
She groaned whilst rolling her eyes and attempted to walk out again, but I stopped her, grabbing her with both hands on her waist
"I'm just messing with you", I slowly pulled her back into the room and surprisingly, she didn't fight me. I sat on the edge of the bed, holding her firmly in between my legs.
"So what now?", I pulled her down to sit on my lap
"What now, what?"
"This", I emphasized the space between us. "What does this make us?"
"I believe it makes us two adults who are just having fun", she titled her head to the side. "In a no-strings-attached kinda way"
"So it's just sex?"
"Yeah, casual sex"
"Casual as in no labels, no commitment and no pressure?", I asked, and she nodded her head
"Is that what you want?", I seeked confirmation and I saw her hesitate for a minute before nodding her head yes. She didn't seem convincing, and I just had to be certain that this is what she wanted.
"Are you sure?", I caressed her lower back. "I want to hear you say it"
"I'm sure", she wrapped one arm around my neck, her round beautiful brown eyes questioning towards mine. "Isn't this what you also want?"
"I mean it could work. So yeah, you can count me in", I smiled at her and her lips turned into a faint smile before she dropped her eyes to the floor
"Listen, I know this whole situation between us counts as me using you as a rebound and everything but as cliché as it sounds, I'm just not looking for anything serious at the moment"
"I understand it's just casual, Liv, and it's not like I have any complaints so far, so I guess it's okay"
"Are you sure?", she quirked up an eyebrow. "because we can't make this work if you and I are not in the same page"
"I'm sure, trust me"
"Is that another lover I should be worried about?", I teased pointing in the direction of the door and she laughed
"That's probably my neighbor, to ask me if it's okay if she borrows some sugar for her morning coffee", she air quoted
"Why do I have a feeling that's not the case?"
"You literally have no idea the extent Mrs Miller's meddling can get to", she exhaled tiredly through her mouth. "She probably saw you come by last night and using this borrowing some sugar excuse to see for herself that you stayed the night"
"Wow", I grasped amusingly. "This is really a friendly neighborhood. If I had neighbors who cared about me like this I wouldn't have moved in the first place. I'm sure my current neighbors don't even know I exist", I joked and she threatened to hit me with a dishcloth while laughing softly.
"Shut up", she scowled as she walked to the door, but I beat her to it as I quickly jogged past her
"What are you doing?", she whisper shouted, stopping in her tracks
"We might as well give Mrs Miller answers to her questions and give her something to think about all week, don't you think?", my hand turned on the door knob in the middle of her formulating a protest, and she facepalmed
The second I pulled the door open, I watched as the other pair of eyes settled on me, traveling from my head to toes questionably and my lips slightly parted in surprise. I turned my head to look back at Olivia, who's eyes were equally widened when she realized who was behind the door.
"Dad!", she sounded nervous yet accommodatingly excited to see him. I watched as her father strode inside, staring between me and her while chewing on the toothpick in between his lips.
"What's going on here?"
