"Hi", I giggled as I trailed my finger on his sharp jawline. "Oh my God, you're so cute"
His chuckle was soft, laced with amusement. "Thank you, I appreciate the compliment"
He spoke in a voice so hoarse and rather tense, it demanded attention to take me somewhere I've never been before. He probably could say the stupidest thing ever but because of that voice, it would turn out to be the sexiest thing I've ever heard in my life.
He reached out for a loose strand on my face and tucked it behind my ear before titling my face up with his other hand, locking eyes with me with great intensity without even blinking
Normally if any random stranger looked at me the way he did right now, I would straight up call him a creep, turn my back on him and walked away, but this particular moment was different cause his eyes were his most prominent feature. I noticed the dark circle at the center of his eyes grew larger, inviting enough to get lost in. I was clearly hypnotized.
"You have beautiful eyes", he whispered against my ear, his warm minty breath fanning across my cheek, triggering a tingling feeling across my skin. I've read somewhere that if that's the first thing a man said to you when meeting you for the first time, you should like probably run.
But the way I was weakened by him right now, I'm not sure I could even crawl
He withdrew from me, his eyes carrying the same intensity it did a few seconds prior and my cheeks flushed red as I dropped my eyes from his gaze
"Can I get you something to drink?"
Surely one more drink can't hurt
I nodded my head at him and he entwined our hands together before he pushed past the crowd to get to the bar. Once halfway through, he wrapped his arm around me and I grasped silently at how his touch send electrical wave impulses throughout my entire body.
"So what will it be for you guys?", the barman asked, and he turned to look at me, motioning with his eyebrows that I be the one speaking up
"Six tequila shots", I spoke loudly as I pulled my weight up the counter, closer to the barman's face so that he can hear me, the music over here sounded less loud than it was on the dance floor, but it was still very loud. The barman gave a quick thumbs up before he turned to fix the shots for us. I turned to look at the gorgeous specimen sitting next to me before I noticed him lean in again to whisper near my ear.
"I have to warn you, I tend to get starving after taking tequila shots"
I laughed a little before I leaned closer to him, not aware how close he already was to my face, almost bumping our heads together. We locked eyes for a second and laughed to ourselves.
"Seems like you and I have something in common", I finally got to whisper to his ear and I saw him crack a side smile
"There's a taco caravan just a few feet from here, would you like to join me?"
"Uhm", It's not like I have anything to lose so, "I don't see why not. I'm actually starving right now"
"Great", he extended his arm for a handshake. "I'm Anthony by the way, but you can call me Tony"
Deep breath
"Two"
You can do this
"One"
It's just a couple of shots
"Bottoms up", he screamed as we both licked the salt off the back of our hands and I closed my eyes shut as I threw the tequila at the back of my mouth. The burning sensation started to kick in and my throat protested in response as I forced myself to swallow, the liquid burning all the way until it hit the walls of my stomach.
I opened my eyes to see Tony had shoved the lime wedge into his mouth, the way his lips pucked up when he was sucking on the liquid before he violently shook his head and let out a loud cheer was somehow funny
I sighed a sigh of relief that the first torture was finally over as I also cheered while raising an empty shot glass in the air. I found him looking at me with a smile on his face.
"What?"
