Devon's POV

My mate looked at me wide eyed with shock," What just happened?" She asked.

'Jace, what have you gotten me into?" I growled at him.

Chuckling nervously while running my hand through my hair I answered," Well you just met my wolf,Jace."

"Okay why was he angry?" She asked.

" As I told you before, werewolves are possessive over their mates so hearing that our mate saw another man's chest is not exactly the most pleasant thing to hear."

"How about I put on some pants then we can talk more about this." I asked her as I walked to my closet.

"Sure" I heard her say behind me.

Isabella's POV

As he went into the closet,I tucked myself in and patiently waited for him.

When I heard his footsteps, I turned to look at him and he happened to be shirtless,with only a pair of shorts. I just want to run my hand over those abs. He had a killer eight pack,swoon worthy much.

"Dev,aren't you going to wear a shirt?" I asked.

"Umm,no." He said as he joined me under the covers.

He pulled me into him as he laid on his back and I laid my head on his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat.

"Okay so." I said as I took his one hand in mine and started playing with his fingers.

"Okay,our wolves are apart of us, however they are their own beings." He explained.

"What about the mate bond,which you failed to tell me about?" I asked him with a playful glare.

Laughing he answered," Sorry about that. The mate bond is a bond shared by mates. A mate can feel his or her mate's emotions especially if they are strong. Mates well all wolves can talk through mind link. The mate bond pushes mates to mark each other and well mate.

Seeing as you're human though my cute little mate, the mate bond grows gradually for you though for me it's already strong, seeing as I am a werewolf after all. For example,when you touch me I feel sparks,which I assume you'll also start to feel seeing as we have been in contact with each other for a while and our feelings for each other are starting to grow which is speeding up the mate bond."

"What do you mean by mark, and by mate as in intercourse?" I asked as I stopped playing with his fingers.

"When we mark,we bite each other at any favoured spot on the body,but since you're human,it will appear on me automatically at the same spot as yours.

The mark will almost look like a tattoo. Once I mark you,you will be able to live as long as I can,which is for centuries." He said kissing my forehead.

"And yes mate as in intercourse." He finished off.

"So just asking,since you're twenty-four which is quite young seeing as you're going to live for many centuries after all,how old is Dominic?" I asked him as I started drawing circles on his chest.

Chuckling nervously,which I found a bit suspicious,he answered,"He's still very young,he's only fifty-five years old." He said with a shrug.

"What?! That means you lied to me, but I won't hold that against you, seeing as I probably wouldn't have believed you or something. So how old are you?" I asked lifting myself up.

"Baby I'm quite young, I assure you. I'm only seventy years old. My parents are still young at the age of one hundred and twenty." He finished off.

"That means we can't have children,or maybe it will just be extremely difficult. I'll have to go to a sperm donor or something." I said with open eyes.
