He was shaky on his feet, but I held him tight. "I didn't. He let me go, but it's a trap. He is probably out there waiting for you. Light you need to go, if he gets you and I survived. What would I do with my life." He said in a low voice.
I pulled his face to mine and kissed him softly, then pulled back. "Zach, I'll never leave you. I will kill him soon, but I know him. I know this is a trap, but I'll take the risk. The war won't start till the end of December. Where the sun will be black behind the clouds. I still have to tell John. Come on we better get you home and cleaned." I said and he nodded.
We walked all the way back. And I was still watching my surroundings, just the wind you can hear.
The door burst open to reveal Star and John. Star screamed and ran to her son, then Lilly saw Zach she started crying and ran to him.
John and the whole pack came out and ran to Zach. I let Zach hug his family as I turned around and look at the dark forest where there is no light.
As I look closely Marcus stood there with an evil smirk on his face. I looked at him as he turns and leaves, but I can hear his voice in my head. 'A war is a war my dear Light, even if you can stop me. You'll die at the end.' Then his voice was gone.
I sighed and turned around. Everyone introduced Marissa to Zach.
Everyone went in, but I stayed outside. Feeling the cold night air around me makes me shiver, but I can't go inside for some reason.
I felt cold, like every part of me will break if I entered the house. But I took a deep breath and went back inside. As I entered, everyone was around Zach, asking where he was or how he even lived.
I growled and everyone turned to me, even Zach.
Everyone saw my eye's change into something, but I don't know which animal. Everyone ran out of the living room, and left me and Zach.
I walked to the window where I saw everyone say bye and left. I know everyone wanted to see Zach, but it made me mad to watch him answer all those questions.
John came back in and nodded at me and kissed Zach's head. Star came in and sat down. Lilly ran after John.
"How are you felling Zach?" Star said.
Zach had new clothes on and he smelled better.
"I'm fine mom, but I'm tired. Can we talked in the morning?" Zach said. I got off the window seat and pulled Zach all the way up the stairs to his room.
Zach changed into some Pj's and climbed into bed. I changed into some Pj's as well and climbing in after him. We lay in each others arms till I fell asleep.
Zach's POV
The whole house lights turned off. Everything was dark expect the light from the window.
"The power is out." John said walking through the dark room to the door, but when he tried opening it, it wouldn't budge.
"The door is stuck." He tried again, but nothing. I just sat there listening to John trying to open the door and he banged on it again and again.
I'm tired of hearing him cursing at the stupid door.
I got up and pulled John away from the door. I placed my hand on the knob and it wouldn't open, so I kicked it open. I slammed my foot on door, watching as it came off its hinges, collapsing to the ground.
I left the room after that."Lightning, what happened." John said furious.
The lights near him exploded and he jumped away. I turned around looking at him and the rest of the pack. Zach was walking to me, but I hissed at him.
He looked at me with sadness and fear.
"I'm sorry John." I said looking at him. He looked confused.
