She gave me a look where she thought I was going crazy. I walked in her cage and knelt in front of her. "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you anymore. Come on, get up. I have to talk to you, but first a shower, and proper food, also clothes." I said picking her up by the arms. She gasped and tried getting away. "Janet, stop. Please." I said to her and her shock face went confused, but she stopped struggling and I helped her up the steps and back to the pack house.

The cells that she was at was behind the house in a little shack. When we came back up to the surface, Janet gasped and quickly closed her eyes. I rushed her inside the house where everyone looked my way as we entered. I growled at everyone and they let me pass and I pushed Janet up the stairs quickly. We made it to my room where she quickly ran to the corner of the room with tears in her eyes.

I went to my closet and grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a red long selves shirt, also gave her a pair of underwear and a bra to make it more comfortable. I walked back into the room to see her still in the same spot. I walked toward her where she tried to push herself further against the wall. "Janet, I'm not going to hurt you. Here take these and use my shower. After that I have news for you. Take your time in the bathroom. Do your hair or makeup if you want, I'll be here with food when you return." I said calmly to her.

She nodded slowly and grabbed the clothes from my hands and walked to the bathroom. I heard the door lock, so I went down stairs to make her something. As I entered through the living room all at once everyone spoke. "WHY DID YOU LET HER OUT?!" They all said and it was weird. "Guys, I had to. This is not what I am. A Goddess should never do that to anybody, not even me. When I visited Marcus, I asked him if he is going to kill her. He said...yes." Everyone was quiet, till Star spoke.

"He said that. To his own mate. Are you going to tell her?" I nodded. "I have to or she'll die in pain." I said in pain. "I'll be in the kitchen making her some real food. Also, who's been feeding her? She's way to skinny." Everyone looked at Jo who sat uncomfortable in the chair.

"Lightning, I want to believe you, but my wolf says your lying to me. I'm scared. I'm scared that I'm losing everyone I love. My family and friends, also my own life." She said through sobs that started through her tears that fall down her cheeks. I got up from my seat and walked to her. "Janet, look at me please." I said quietly.

She looked up through her red eyes. "Let me in your mind. Let me reason with your wolf. I'm trying to protect you both from death he will cause." She nodded and I got into her mind where I meet her brown wolf snarling at me. 'Brown wolf of Janet. Listen. He'll kill you the first step if you are on his side. He doesn't want you and he has no feelings and he told me himself in person. Please understand.' She growled, but I was serious.
